Hi,

This may affect  buyers of new cars, (and possibly nearly new cars?). Too complicated for this little brain),

Search for  ...  VED REFORM BRIEFING FOR MOTOR INDUSTRY.

Hearses are listed under Group M1SP ... whatever that means.

Isn't this old news issued in 2016 and only affecting vehicles first registered after 1st April 2017  ???

There was something muted for motor homes in M1SP category issued in 2019 but only apllying to new vehicles however.

Hi Richard,

Yes! One of those unfortunate instances of clicking SEND, shortly before seeing the light. On the other hand, my memories of hearing this in the relevant Budget are very vague.
