Yes, a careful fitter is what you need, at least the tyres will go on from the rear of the rim, so no levering at the front edge.

When re-fitting to the vehicle you really need to remove some of the paint where the wheel nut butts up against the steel wheel.

Also make sure your wheel nut socket is shallow enough to stop short of the wheel,

What I do/done is glue a piece of cork into the bottom of the wheel brace socket so it can not touch the wheel rim when undoing the nuts  :first
