They bought a 1980's Maserati BiTurbo which had been converted to electric back in the 1990's. After spending nearly $17,000 on new motors, batteries and switchgear what did they end up with. 0-60 in about 8 seconds and a range of 120 miles of they're lucky. For that money I reckon they could have found and rebuilt a BiTurbo engine. Still, it was a laugh.
