On the topic of MOT

Electric vehicles used to be mot exempt long ago.

Am I correct to assume that given the uptake and direction of new car sales that is no longer the case.

On topic of Electric, fifth gear last night, VOLVO FH Artic, electric, 3 tonnes of battery, projected range of 300km the presenter jimmy de ville said thats just over 200 miles??????????

300km = 180miles the last time I checked.

2400nm of torque, 10 hours to charge, electric truck change over by 2035/40 so they said.

EVs will soon be liable for VED.

He he he - get them hooked and then wind up the tax. It's like handing out free heroin for 3 months, then they start paying for a fix    :nursey
(suckers)

You can read all about any changes to the MoT rules or VED or fuel taxes on the Mail OnLine website as they happen :tiphat

Just been looking at retro fit electrification kits, electrogenic, POA

What will that do to mot and tax status, and as they seem to supply a farmer targeted kit is there a requirement for certificated install like some but not all lpg kits used to have
