Ordering from Paddocks - delivery time
« on: July 05, 2021, 10:03:30 AM »

What's the delivery like when ordering from Paddocks?  I know some suppliers were we taking weeks to deliver in lockdown 1 (and/or lockdown 2).  Are things back to normal now, a mater of days?  Yes I could order a fuel pump (549761) from Blanchard's etc but it would no doubt be a Britpart item and Paddocks is cheaper with the club discount.

Thanks

The last few orders I've had to place with paddocks ove the last few months have all included 'special order' parts which they've had to buy in. Even still they all arrived within 5 days so I reckon an item thats in stock should arrive quickly.

I ordered some in stock parts a few weeks ago, next day delivery.
The next order had some special order items in it, that took three days.

They are very good and don't forget to use the club member discount.

All the suppliers seem to have upped their game recently, but Paddocks and Blanchards have been consistently reliable and prompt throughout this last 18 months. I don't order from Paddock regularly, but when I do, its rarely more than 2-3 days delivery.

An order last week which contained some special 'order in' items still arrived in 5 days

Just placed another order this morning and got a covid delay notice because of staffing issues - this didn't feature in last weeks order....

Whilst I do buy on price Paddocks have been more reliable for me (in terms of delivery) so I use them more - the discount is a plus too!

I placed an order Thursday pm, on the tracking it was collected today and expected delivery is Wednesday.

Quite happy with that during current times, and a £16 discount saving as well.

I ordered a complete exhaust beginning of May 2020 andasked them if they could ship it a few days later so it would hopefully arrive when my day off. They were very obliging and it arrived spot on. Couldnt fault them.  :cheers

Very pleased with Paddocks service this week.

Ordered a couple of bits Monday at about 2pm, did pay for the express service as can’t use the vehicle, had the parts by 9:30 this morning.

You pay extra for express but the club discount more than covered and apparently that not only faster postage but also puts higher up the queue.

First time I used paddocks but won’t be the last. Compared to LR centre in Liverpool that won’t honour the club discount, take a week to deliver part of the order and refund the rest as what they say is in stock they can’t even order in……. Know who is getting the business next time

More than happy with the service from Paddocks,
First time I've used them.

Ordered a rear door gas strut for my freelander 1.

It arrived within 2 days.

Now the wife can open the rear door no problem.

Didn't know about the club discount though, what is it and what's the code ?

Click on the button above that says "Visit our website" and log in through there.
The various member discounts are all listed under the club services tab.

The log in to the website is different to the forum log in and you will need to be allowed access by Alan (wittsend) on here as he needs to check your membership status. The email address to contact him on is on the log in page on the website.

.... read you Club magazine(s) Built 2 Last.

Established S2C members will find details go the discounts in them.
New members - if you sign up today - won't have back copies, (they are available online through the web site).
New members will get a copy of the last B2L in their welcome pack, which will take up to 3 weeks to arrive after joining.
In which case you will need to ask me for a website access account.

Oh, and B2L being printed 4 times a year can't always keep up with any day-2-day changes there might be.

The Paddocks discount code is not in the latest B2L - I looked yesterday!

It is listed in the member's area of the forum, but whereas all members get B2L, not all members are on the forum/have access to the website.
