Borders area will be having a meet at The Solway Aviation Museum, Carlisle airport, CA6 4NW, on Sunday 2nd July. There will be an opportunity to park up the series vehicles in front of the Avro Vulcan. The museum opens at 10:30, so arrive between then and 11, on arrival please pay your entry fee and book a time slot for a Vulcan cockpit tour if you want to.  Please let me know if you would like to attend, even if it’s just a maybe so I can give the museum an approximate idea of numbers.

I was on the long greenlane trip instead, but I did go when Kevin organised a visit in 2014, I didn’t have a series in the road then though.

Wow, 7 years ago!  Its a great museum and the cockpit tour of the Vulcan is not to be missed! 

If I'm available I can see a trip northwards, perhaps in the 101 as it eats up motorway miles.
