I can't get the link to work, it just takes me to eBay start page.

I can't get the link to work, it just takes me to eBay start page.
That's because a space was inserted before the actual number, 173903763820.
Try the link when assembled correctly. Proof reading, even forum posts, is not a waste of time.
auction: #173903763820
Note that you have to be the 'correct' size, somewhere close to the size of a fit combat person. The details are in the advert. As with typical services sizing, it is in metric, height / chest.

Search eBay for 'army coveralls afv' to find other stockists that might hold different sizes.

Regards.

Cheers fir that as link took me to my order but others to home page didn’t see space but glad you did , yes military overalls goes by you build order slightly bigger than you are to ensure a nice fit giving you option to wear a jumper underneath otherwise they are tight as I like a bit of free space to move in them.
Cheers
John

I was thinking why they dont make more black boilersuites, there would be no need to wash them  ;)

There’s racks of ex-contract overalls at events such as Malvern (Sunday)
Anything from well used to unmarked, often in Main Dealer colours.

I have used raf overalls for years. Nice green , practicle, cheap, not nylon sweaty stuff.
O eve you have the sizing right your sorted.

I unstitch the pencil pocket inside stitches and a phone goes in nicely. Always wear a marker lanyard to remind me to remove before washing. Guess how I found out!

Go for 100% cotton heavy as possible if you are welding.

Avoid polycotton if welding as spatter will make holes quite readily.

Dickies redhawk are generous cut, but bobble up a bit.

I wear Alexandra coveralls for work - I have 2 pairs that are now a least 2 years old, that have to last me the week. Several colours available and you can choose the inside leg measurement as well as chest size. Hopefully the company are going to buy me some more soon! Alexandra price is £23.99 and the code is NU101. These do come up on eBay sometimes.

Simon.

I have had enough of Dickies for a life time. Tried to sort out sizes for Army / Raf suites but need to try them on really so I am off to try a few for £10 each. Some are all velcro so no studs or zipps which is a good thing.

Lurch 032003

I went down my nearest army surplus store and found a pair of these boiler suites. They have a zip up patch on the backside so you can sit on the toilet without taking them off. Also found a new black boiler suite that they get issued on the Nuclear submarines which are really heavy weight. Thanks for the tip at £10 a pair  :cheers

Would one's shreddies also have a special zip? - Because without one you could run into major problems... :agh

I get 'Portwest' from the local farm supply shop at the cattle market in the town near my parents, heavy weight, generous size and last well.

It made me smile a couple of Billings ago to see a rack of the cheapest suits at Anchor supplies as low as £2!
These had dribbles of paint or small tears just as it was becoming fashionable to pay EXTRA for these "features!"

When I was knocking about in London a lot, (up until a couple of  years ago)  there was a place in Brick Lane market on Sundays that did ex works overalls for £2 - £3 a set, I used to grab a few from them when I was passing.
..I think they were trying to 'posh' up the area tho, so probably a wine bar now.. :shakeinghead

All in one 'combinations' are still obtainable.  The sort you used to see cowboys wearing in the old Western films.  Just make sure you are sitting down if you look up the price of them...

Brick Lane market, well worth going to. Over 30 years ago for me.

Last time i looked there was nothing left of the Brick Lane market you'd remember ( most of the good junk was actually, mainly,  in Cheshire St that crossed BL) ..there was none of the old stalls and fly pitchers etc and all the wrecked old building frontages had been re furbed , no doubt for sale to wealthy computerised youngsters with beards and the like... :shakeinghead

I  usually buy a few pairs at the land rover 4x4 spares day. I went to Malvern on Sunday but none to be had.
I just bought 6 used pairs off ebay for £30. What will they be like i wonder.

A few. Years ago at the local agricultural show they had a dealer selling many used x factory overalls from various companies. Some really nice Land Rover ones In green with chest logo! Regret not getting them.

Another vote for Dickies

I have a set of their insulated overalls and they are roasting in the winter. Bit thicker and bulkier than normal coveralls but they certainly keep you warm inside.
