Title: MOT date reminder - Confusion.
Post by: Genem on August 23, 2020, 07:36:19 PM
This may be of interest to those who still MOT their vehicles.

People will recall that during "lockdown" the UK Govt kindly extended some MOT expiry dates by 6 months. That pushed the expiry date for one of my vehicles out to December.

I have logged that vehicle on the MOT reminder Email service they also helpfully provide. Today I got an email reminder telling me its due in September.

On double checking the DVLA website, it still says December.

Which part of the DVLA comms should I believe ?

I doubt the Govt has ever turned away people willing to give them money :-)
