I have on my motor an original set of Rocky Mountain Parabolic springs they have done stalwart service for the last 20 odd years (they came in a wooden crate wrapped in Canadian newspaper) but now the eye bushes have begun to age,I know they are slightly larger diameter than the LR ones.
I contacted the people who now represent Rocky Mountain who said they were out of stock but are available over there from suppliers.
The part number is (American spec)RB120 or 3941634 or 472619 from Chevrolet parts.
Does any one know where I can purchase these in the UK

You need Polybush, parabolic spring bushes, part no. 1CN, not listed on the web site but if you contact them at [email protected] or 01978 664316 :tiphat

Hi Guys, did anyone fit their 1CN bushes yet?
Need to replace a bush on my RM springs.

I've heard mixed reviews on Polybushes, so I decided to follow up on the original bushes from a couple of American parts suppliers, the cost is quite an eye opener (shipping and duties payable ect).
Being a Yorkshireman (OW MUCH!) I looked again at standard leaf spring bushes which are a bit small diameter wise, so pressed some spare bushes into some tubular steel which came from an old TV stand and a scrap I/V pole and the result is they are now approx 1mm too big but should be ok once dressed with a file.
I have not fitted any as yet because other jobs get in the way but I am confident that it will be successful.
