Is there a separate thread for these?
I’m watching an American film called Walking Out, nothing to write home about but there is a nice LHD Series 2 or 2a. Lights in the grille and individual wiper motors, I haven’t seen much detail but there are plenty of shots from behind.

There's a Series 2A featured tonight in Wheeler Dealers on Quest
tonight at 9pm, Freeview HD channel 114. Does that count as film?

check out https://www.imcdb.org/ for plenty of series action!

There is somewhere on the internet an all encompassing website that lists all known appearances of Series Land Rovers in films (and TV) - including "Ice Cold in Alex" :stars

It's not a SII/IIa, but the movie Trollhunter has a rather interesting SIII kitted out for hunting trolls!

THis evening he most American of American TV series Seal Team had a picture of a SIIa SWB Station Wagon? being used by the terrorist group Boko Haram. I don’t know anything about this group but they’ve got good taste when it comes to kidnap vehicles.
-
Boko Haram are an Islamic militant group operating mainly in the region in and around Northern Nigeria. Similar ethos to IS... They are the ones who keep attacking school and kidnapping schoolgirls from boarding schools. Not nice guys...

I was watching a repeat of Heir Hunters yesterday.
As they sometimes do they showed Archive film to show the sort of life the deceased would have experienced.
This archive was of National Service in the Aden Protectorate (the deceased was there for most of his 2 years NS). There were some good shots of Series vehicles in the background.
Nowadays UK people are being vilified for its 'adventures' outside the UK.
I am making no statement about any rights and wrongs, apart from 'that was then, this is now'.
Wed 19th. 4.55, Channel More 4. (https://www.channel4.com/programmes/heir-hunters/on-demand/72124-003)
