Hope they don't drag this one out for 20 odd episodes like they are doing with Binky. I've now lost interest in that one as its taking so long with a lot of repetitive bracket making ect. Yes I'm in awe of the fabrication skills ect but get the feeling it's being stretched out for the income it generates.

Love the BOM boys.....so glad when a new episode drops. A mate from work got me into Project Binky last year and have loved watching all the episodes. I'll be honest, I've learnt a lot from watching it. Only yesterday, I did a bit of 'CAD'

The BOM boys have taught me a lot, and it's given me the courage to try trickier things like more complicated electronics...

As to the time its taken to complete Binky... People take years restoring something simple like a Series Land Rover whilst installing a Tdi.
A full on drive train transplant, plus structural modification, on top of other projects, customer projects and running a business...

I'm waiting for another out takes video  :neener

Hi,

I've got a photo of Barbara driving her TVR Vixen round Castle Coombe, and another picture of my son (very young, thumb in mouth, showing no interest in Babs, on her first return to Pendinre.

Barbara has driven her Sabre 6 on Pendine (hasn't everybody?). I once returned to the slip-way, in my S1 project (FEU 254 ... Google)), to find the tide had come in, and the bottom of the slip-way was under water. Not a probllem for us, but there were still a lot of Mundane GTs on the beach behind us.

The SHVR members went along to Pembrey  to cheer on Johnny Thomas driviing his 1902 Napier Grand Prix car (the first car to be painted BRG) in earnest .... approach the bend, glance over shoulder, lean back, and haul on hand-brake. The club members were invited to do a lap of honour in their classics. One member didn't like the paint (or lack of it) on Barbara's Sabre, so insisted she drove his TR6. Well, she had to humour him, didn't she?

PS, at a SHVR pub meeting, I asked Mike Worthington Williams OBE what he was driving now.

"A Ford Menopause!"

"A what?"

"A Mondeo!"

Watched it this morning and really enjoyed it.

I'm enjoying the escargot more than binky. Slightly faster pace, commercial vehicle, and a more practical approach.

Hi,

I thought "Escargo" had been "bagged" by 2CV owners?
