A garden LandRover, with a trailer, or perhaps other attachments would be really useful. It could go places that real ones can't, like paths for example.

Hi,

Add a second rear axle to a Series rolling chassis .... and fit a half-scale Scammell Explorer body and crane.

602 ... who got into a "mistletoe clinch", Xmas of 1959, with the WRAF Scammel driver, at the RAF Driving School at Weeton, near Blackpool. A strapping wench, who could check the water level in most truck radiators without standing on the bumper.

Scammell Explorer, What a vehicle ! But I actually prefer the Antar, now there is a comparison test to behold  :RHD
Some years back I saw an Army convoy consisting mainly Bedfords and Landrovers with a couple of Fodens, coming up the rear was an 8 leg Foden Recovery truck with a 90 hanging off the back end ! Looked a bit OTT  😀

It's a fantastic piece of work and steam fairs have many examples of smaller scale commercials, traction engines etc., all various scales built from scratch.  I think it has great publicity value and  it would look well in a dealers showroom.
