Shame they're  not 1/10 scale or 1/18 scale for R/C conversion

Oooohhh, they look nice. I can see some purchases coming my way...

The 88" models have been very unrepresented in model form in the past. You can buy 1/35 scale 109" soft tops from Italeri and off course Tamiya made their Pink Panther and Marshal ambulance kits but never seen a good 88" before.

I like the station wagon version, might have to start with that one.

Love the Ledbury Road one - used to drive past it all the time!
I always wondered where it ended up. Nice to see it as a model though!

Good spot, thank you!

Bit of scratch building to move the lights into the wings and all is good!

The Station Wagon looks good. I'm wondering how to get a deluxe bonnet to replicate mine...

The Tamiya Pink Panther and the Revell 109" series III kit both have deluxe bonnets. One with just a plate and the other with a dished wheel carrier.
Might be a start if you want to swap bits about.

I imagine it will be easy enough to cross kit with Tamiya or italeri for different versions. Hopefully some aftermarket add-ons will become available too.

They already exist.

There are series 2 shells for RC cars yes, not something I've really investigated as it's not a hobby I follow but I've certainly seen thek, dunno about scale though.

A transkit is available for the Revell 1/24 109 SW to convert it into a Series 2 or 2A.

I’m in the middle of converting one into an early S2. Shame about the door hinges but the rest of it looks ok!

3rd pic is the kit built ‘out of the box’.

Any idea where the transkit can be sourced Bradfordseries2. Had a quick google but no luck! Thanks

I was going to ask the same question!

By the way, revell are now doing a 109" "commercial" as they call it, basically a three door window hard top with tropical roof.

This is my 98% finished station wagon version.
