Yes, saw that thread, and a few on pistonheads, but nothing definitive from the banks.
The appear to be making things safer for buyers, at the expense of sellers (much as Ebay)
Unfortunately there are just as many crooked buyers as there are sellers, who will always take advantage of loopholes.

I still cant find anything definitive about the "24 hrs reversal" as in my original post though.
