Sorry to hear of your loss. Although I never knew him, your father was evidently a popular and well-liked man....I hope this is of some comfort to you at this sad time.

Thanks again for the kind words and support.

I have arranged a quiet service and cremation. I'll bring him home because mum wants to keep him close.

His/our SII has been moved to a safe place to await restoration.

Mum is going to move soon and I can't go with so I have to find a flat that will allow pets... or rehome the dog which is the absolute last resort.

So far 2020 is not going to be remembered as a good year
