Unfortunately there are those who will, regardless of the asking price, try to knock a seller down. If something is fairly priced and you want it why insult someone?.

I would not see that as an insult just human nature. There was a thread on the series 2 facebook page were a seller got the vapours when someone offered 18k for a landrover he had for sale at 20k ONO because he didnt consider 18k to be a near offer on 20k  :stars

But then there are those who if offered that 20k vehicle for 1k would offer less, the latter deserve being invited to "go forth and reproduce" imo!.

If you're offering stuff for sale it comes with the territory..tbh I've often made offers on for instance eBay items, even if there's no best offer option..and frequently had my offer accepted.. it's been a central part of human trade and commerce since prehistoric times, I can't see the point of getting narked about it.. it's easy just to say no thanks, or even ignore it!  ;)
