Really annoying with petrol at the £1 a litre mark around here.

Yes ... quite so ^^^

They might as well be selling it for 10p a litre for all the good it will do - we can't go out and drive anywhere - except to the shops and petrol station  >:D

You watch - when we are allowed out again the price will rocket up  :shakeinghead

i put 75 L in my daily driver the day of the lock down , and its still got 3/4 of a tank , i noramly get through 2 tanks a month , and on the otehr hand the landrover has been geting some use ,

We live on what is normally a busy road and the only compensation for the last two weeks is the road is quiet however today there seems to be more cars going past today than has been for the last two weeks.

I bought a more economical car just before being unable to drive anywhere and working from home, and I got an MOT on it a full month before expiry, which also happened to be the day before they extended MOTs for six months, now I can't sell the old one due to lockdown. On the plus side, my four new tyres are lasting very well and I haven't needed to top up the windscreen wash either.
