Thanks for the info Paul that’s interesting to know regarding the engine

Number 86 as you say it’s a bitsa and even though finding the right bits in the way for restoring it. It  will always not be original  and I don’t know if people would pay good money for it being like that. And as you say doing it up will definitely cost a bit and it’s finding the right parts in the first place

I wonder about the history....

I have only ever seen hub caps on ceremonial or state vehicles.

Williams aren't daft. If there was any money in it they would be doing it up themselves.

Could the wheels with the hub caps not come off a old horsebox :bright-idea

maybe a Rice horse box...

Yes, thats them.
They have produced some very nice restorations, but not cheap. One of the better "specialists" by all account.
