what are these?
First perhaps steering?
Second perhaps something coil sprung?

LH one is a recirculating steering box casing - slightly later one as mounting hole looks to be 3/8in (early ones were 5/16)

Other one looks like an alternator mount of some sort.

Could the second one be off a 200tdi, power steering or air con mounting - from the engine now in my 11a :bright-idea

Yes, the 2nd is a Discovery 200tdi power steering and alternator bracket.

Still looking in the greenhouse this morning and found this, seens to be a exhaust thing, could it be 200tdi or non Land Rover?

Thats the cast downpipe from a 200TDI Disco turbo.

My greenhouse has a LR rear door, some sides, a tailgate, various other bits, plus some tubs full of vinegar for de-rusting small components.

No plants.

I could start listing all the other Land Rover parts in the greenhouse but as most are Series one :-[ and therefore O/T I thought I better keep quiet

(and lifes to short to start listing the parts in the cellar/shed/loft)
