Optional Equipment booklet part no. 4437
« on: June 29, 2020, 04:24:07 PM »

In these quiet times I was looking through my copy of the Optional Equipment booklet part no. 4437
This covers a lot of stage things (to me anyway)
I wonder if any member has either of these options still fitted and working ???

I *think* my 88" has some kind of carb heater on, certainly has wiring going into the carb.

But in these politically correct days would anyone still order one of these
(I would have thought most owners would have just flicked it out the window)

Could use the altitude corrector in California, in a few hours you can go from sea level to 9,000 ft.

Yes, done that, one of my abiding memories of a California holiday years ago was when the large bag of crisps/chips that we had bought near the coast promptly exploded on the back seat of the car at about 8000 feet. Nearly gave us both heart attacks.
