One of the Car SOS programmes featured a S1 trialler with a turbocharged 2286 petrol engine.

I remember that episode. Didn't the turbo need a complete overhaul? Non-Standard fitment, if I remember correctly?

I'll post some pictures lifted off the web later.

Somewhere I've recently seen a scan of a brochure dating from the 70's for a blower conversion, but right now I can't find it.

I'm more interested in conversions done in the 50's/60's/70's than more recent home brewed jobs.

The turbo was off something wierd.
