Caution - eBay Fly Screen Auction Potential Con.
« on: January 26, 2021, 06:03:42 PM »

Hi folks,

Proceed with caution with this auction on eBay auction: #143924593093.

I won these fly screens and paid over a month ago now, the seller got in touch after a week or so and apologised for not posting them sooner for personal reasons. So I waited, eBay status then said posted so I waited again, nothing turned up.

I have just tried to get in touch with the seller and have had no reply. I have since checked their feedback status and it looks like they’ve done this at least once before.  :thud So proceed with caution folks.

eBay refund in progress.

They are Series 3 fly screens!
Series 2 Fly Screens are in four separate pieces and the ends are square.

Pretty sure I had a set of these lying about the garage once.
If I find them I'll let you know.

Craig.

Here's an idea for a cheap DiY fly screen(s).

Cut some s/s mesh (B&Q sell mesh) of appropriate size and hot glue into position. No messing around with drills and screws.

First always check their feedback, and selling anything less than 50 always buy with caution, If someone has less than 98% poz feedback, I don't buy (he had 77.8%) and always use PayPal or buy through eBay your guaranteed your money back then, the good thing about eBay is they are on the customers side before the seller, unusual these days

These eventually turned up on the 30th. Bought on the 6th, supposedly posted on the 20th arrived on the 30th with a 27th postal date.
