A topic close to my heart...

There is a very nice series III station wagon, 6 cylinder available from Revell in 1:24 scale. About the length of a Land Rover badge. I bought this one with the intention of converting it into a series IIA one day and making my Land Rover.

Tamiya do some nice 1:35 scale kits. The Pink Panther is still available but the Rover 7 ambulance is a hard to find one now.

That is about all I know of other than there used to be some 1:18 diecast kits by Burago but these were more screw together kits than proper building kits.

If you want to spend some money Tamiya do a radio controlled Defender 90.

Airfix do a few, as do hobbyboss.

I have the revell 1:24 six cylinder which is a nice kit, but I'm waiting for better weather so I can paint it.

Saw this the other day from Tamiya, coming soon, some truck on a wired track setup.
Thought it could be fun to build a series II 109” hardtop shell for it and make a Cuthbertson to drive around the garden.   :RHD

I do have one of the SWB series III’s in 1:24 scale from monogram somewhere.
Not that easy to find now at a decent price.

If Range Rover classics are your thing then look at the kits from Aoshima in 1:24. They are really nice kits.

The Shaun the Sheep Airfix kits do sometimes surface on eBay. I keep attacking mine with a Dremel, matchsticks and cardboard, or repairing it after the 🐈🐈 have vandalised it!

I've got a Dinky Toy Land Rover kit unassembled. I bought it at a Newbury Land Rover autojumble years ago. I've never assembled it because apparently it's worth more unassembled.

Have a look at the Lego Defender, not cheap, my daughter bought me one for Christmas and has been great to assemble on a rainy lockdown day. I’ve only just finished it. 2500 parts with all gears and steering working. It’s very therapeutic to work on.

Kit Form Services also make very nice 1/24 Resin kits. The military range includes a Series 2A Ambulance, Series 2A / 3 Lightweight and a 1 ton.

See photograph of built up example of their Ferret armoured car. Planning to get a Lightweight model as a birthday present to complement the real thing, the model might get finished first!

It was a toss up between a street legal Ferret armored car, or Grover... Grover of course won out.
