Badges & Car Show
« on: April 12, 2021, 08:49:13 PM »

Finally got the badges mounted on Grover, decided to wait till the S2C brass badge arrived.  Luckily it arrived in time for our town's spring festival.  Grover participated in tge car show - won the 4x4 category - and participated in tge parade as well.  Made sure there was plenty of reading material on hand as well.  As you'll notice, I made a wooden tailgate for Grover.  In our area it's the law that if you have anything in the back of a truck that could slide/fall out you must have a tailgate.  I didn't like the idea of just attaching a piece of plywood, so I made this.  It was actually a hit with the car show crowed, they liked the wooden touch.

Mpudi: So how did the land rover get up the tree?
Steyn: Do you know she has flowers on her panties?
Mpudi: So that's how it got up the tree.
