'65 IIa daily. Commute of 35miles each way. The 'three mile stretch' of the A50 from Uttoxeter to the roundabout at Blythe Bridge is less comfortable than is ideal. Concrete surface laid in sections, like riding a space hopper!

Should we lobby the government to have a dedicated lane around such things and rumble strips for series Land Rovers ???

oh you dont quite understand the simplicity of this particular electric car...
- Non boosted brakes
- Manual steering rack
- Sliding windows
- galv tube chassi with GRP outer
- webasto style heater (well my one is missing)
- Electric motor & gear reduction box from a forklift...

In the dim and distant past I ran an 80" as a daily driver for 11 years on a 40 mile round trip.

Calum how do you prize Alex out of the P4?

Peter

Well she's been in the office around 7 times in the past 18 months so it has barely turned a wheel! Plus now she's on two wheels she's usually out on that instead!

I remember test driving an electric car at  Hunderfossen Family Park   in about 1990  at Norsk LRC event. , first and only electric car I have ever driven.  Was very impressed with the acceleration & smoothness. I think it was manufactured by a Norwegian firm later bought by Ford
