John Craddocks delivery times.
« on: August 17, 2021, 03:27:25 PM »

Hi everyone, I have seen a lot of comments in various places recently complaining of poor service from John Craddock, I have waited a long time previously which has put me off ordering from them. Anyway, to the point, I ordered a water pump and a pair of bell housing grommets on the evening of the 11th August and much to my surprise, the box was sitting on my doorstep when I got home from work yesterday the 16th, so they sometimes do deliver in good time.
Phil.

Yes I had a good experience too. Only a few days to arrive. Hand written address which is a bit odd I thought. Hopefully they're addressing their delivery issues as they list some great stuff.

Maybe the amount of criticism that there has been on line and else where has had some effect to the good. Lets hope this is the case and it continues to improve. Mind it couldn't get much worse than it has been in the past.

The key problem for me was their habit of taking money for product they did not have in stock then making you wait weeks for new production. It should be illegal to advertise as if stuff was in stock when it is not...

One (or two) swallow doesn't make a summer - but this could be a step in the right direction.

Order with care ...

Over the years I've had very good and bad service from Craddocks but everyone remembers the bad :shakeinghead
If a company is to be well thought about they need to be good all the time, if problem do happen they need to apoligise and fix them quickly :-\

I've had a number of orders off JC recently. Every one has arrived quickly and with full traceability. I think the collective criticisms were valid, but it looks like they have listened and made significant improvements. I can't see John wishing to alienate his loyal customer base, so I reckon its a lesson learned. I haven't got any concerns based on recent experience.

I was thinking just the same - all recent orders have arrived promptly.
