I have had various work done by their sister company in Hereford and been very pleased. I am afraid my experience over the years is that the quality is solely dependant on the operators and one time it will be excellent and  12 months later poor . A friend of mine ran a company making overhead power line equipment and most was Galvanised and he said getting consistent quality galvanising was the bane of his life and often they had to have a team of staff cleaning up poor quality work.

Some galvanisers offer two levels of finish (or did at one time) "structural" and "Architectural" the latter is the smooth finish you're after whether you like the price is another matter.

galvanisers are an odd bunch, depending on how clean their tank is and how careful the guys doing it are, it will come out good or looking like someone vomited on it. then you have to hope the forklift driver doesnt crush all of your things on the pallet.
its hard to find a good one, as above, one month they will be fine, next the tank is filthy and you get *&%^$, its all hoping and praying.

I used Yorkshire Spin Galvanizing. Very happy with their work.
