Title: what is a good oil pressure reading for a 2.25 petrol 2a?
Post by: 109 fever on January 31, 2021, 08:21:03 PM
Can some one tell me what is considered to be a good idle oil pressure, and also at speed?
Thanks

20 psi ish at idle

50 to 55 psi engine warmed up and bowling along.
A worn engine somewhat less.
A compression test will give an idea of the engine's health.

Mine gives 60 psi cold at revs, when thoroughly warmed up its 55. Idle is around 35-40.
