Spending ££ again
« on: April 23, 2021, 02:01:48 PM »

You would think I would know by now, just spending a few ££ on chassis bushes..... and I end up buying a Steve parker power  steering conversion kit!! But I saved £60 odd, the price went up! So I am saving money really when you  look at it like that  £381.60 (inc.VAT) oh well, cant take it with you

From when I looked (briefly) at that, there seemed to be a load of stuff that still had to be purchased over and above the kit

Is it a complete, all in the bag, kit ?

"The customer will need to obtain the P38 steering box, the P38 universal joint coupling shaft, the power steering pipes, (petrol or Diesel it does not matter) the brown plastic reservoir and the mounting bracket. You will also require the power steering pipes from the engine that is being installed.

The customer will also need to obtain the steering column assembly and brackets from a Land Rover 90/110, complete with the steering wheel, (note there are 2 different splines on the steering columns so get the steering wheel to match)"

Spending isn't over yet my friend !!  (plus the power steering pump!)

No its not a complete, like you say, all the P38 bits are still needed, but I have that in hand, and it's going to cost me another £100 for everything, and then that is it

Silly question but what does the £380 kit include then?
I've just put a Range rover classic power steering box in a series III and I can't think of anything else I needed.

I wouldn't have wasted my money !

There are enough places on a series to knock a top off and on a 110, the door shut works !!
