Title: Classic Range Rover Tailgate Gas Struts.

An odd question but can anybody tell me the size of the ball stud(?) that fit the gas struts on the tailgate of a RR Classic please?

I'm planing the Mowersman conversion for my brand spankers new catflap.

From an old tailgate with broken glass off a 1990 RRC I get the following:

Ball diameter is 0.3750" / 3/8" / 9.5 mm

Length from mounting plate to top of ball is 0.750" / 3/4" / 19 mm.

If you need more measurements let me know.
