Is the selector and drive collar used in the pto winch drop box the same part as used in the basic rear mount pto?

It can be yes :) I don't know if they were from new, but I have a drop PTO, which was missing the selector parts and I just used the selector  from a normal rear pto. I can see no reason why they would be different apart from the drop pto maker choosing to make their own rather than using the standard one. obviously the control lever it self has several variants (for example the one for operating under the flap under the  centre seat in a series 1 vs the one which pokes through the seat box in later series .
