Missing thread/topic
« on: April 04, 2023, 05:23:24 PM »

I replied to a post on the events section this morning about the 2024 rally at Sixpenny Handley. I haven't logged in since so I don't know if anyone else went on but and it appears to have vanished.
Has it, am I dreaming and if not, why?

Nope. that's the usual 2023 one - the missing one was about the Club Rally which is down here next year and its gone!

I saw it too, its quite exciting to have the rally in your own back yard, any more info?
I would go to this years but we will be midway through a 2 week tour of ireland, the Peak district does look appealing.

Cheers

Please hold fire on this.

The topic about the 2024 Rally jumped the gun.

It has been the club's practice for some years now, that we officially announce the next Annual Rally straight after the current one - so as not to distract attention from the current Rally.
This has worked well for us in the past.
The next Rally, along with dates and booking details will be published in the Autumn issue of B2L.
This should give people plenty of time to book their days off work and save up for petrol & beer.

There's nothing to stop the organisers from planning the next rally.
