Barbara was looking up a friend, to see if he was an OBE, or an MBE.

She read that we have lost another friend, a couple of weeks ago .......

Mike Worthington Williams. OBE, Motoring Historian and Journalist. He was a year older than I am.

Mike's first vehicle was a V-twin motorcycle and sidecar, that started life as a taxi in Tenby. The last time we met, I asked what he was driving, as I knew he no longer owned "Arthur", his 1920 Austin Heavy 12.

"A Male Menopause", he replied.

"What's that?

"A Ford ... doh! ... what came after the Cortina?" ... and where can I get senility tablets?
