Hi.

Just had a notification, while logging on, that my PC is Windows 11 compatible.

Can we assume that those who didn't get that message will have to do without. Or did they receive a "nil return".

It just means your computer is compatible, able to upgrade to Windows 11.
Unless you go looking for the upgrade, it will come to you.

I use four different computers in my day to day activities. Those machines are only a few years old and one is a Microsoft Surface laptop.

All of those machines have said they are not compatible with Windows 11. Unless they change that I think there will be serious resistance to people wanting to change over to it.

The great thing about the monopoly you all find yourselves in is that you have no choice! You will either have to upgrade, or buy a new computer. Whilst paying Microsoft a monthly fee whilst you think about it.

You won't have to update but you'll be limited on new software, patches, etc. I still have an old Windows XP laptop for a specific bit of software.
