Just spent a happy hour greasing up the wheel bearings in the hubs ready ready for fitting to the rear axle on the Panda camper.

Such a satisfying job  :cheers

Which bit do you need? Is it the thick or thin wedge that mounts on the transmission cross member? (Would need to know which one). I may well have one, but can't get to my store until the Coronation weekend. Seems like you might need it a tad sooner!

It's OK I have already ordered one online, but thanks, what's the betting I find it as soon as the ordered one comes?

Started painting chassis black on the new chassis.

Then went to the pub for the classic car meet, but it was cancelled   :'(

More about what i didnt do.

The dreaded lurgy has laid me low since FRiday but having abandoned my bed today I thought I could just do a little gentle mechanicing. I am replacing a couple of brake pipes and have made patterns.  I cut the brake pipe to length then got my flring kit out which I havent used since lending it out.  I got all set up to discover that the 3/16 mandrel is missing so the job has come to a stop.  New mandrel ordered and will be here later in the week so I can continue to rest.

Take a look at West Wales Laners on YouTube.
We did a Land Rover 75 year tribute on Strata Florida last weekend. Great fun. 😁

Installed a natty USB charger with bonus voltmeter (handy if you've got an alternator fitted). Picked up on Ebay. Fits in pre-existing cigarette light socket. Also has a socket for some sort of phone cable, but I'm several upgrades away from needing that  :-X
