« on: June 04, 2023, 04:08:14 PM »

Greetings. I tried to post this earlier but failed but at 85 everything fails1 Had a wonderful holiday in the Tywyn area of Mid-Wales but be warned the number of garages having E5 has seriously declined in the last month, Please be warned and carry a can.

In that area last year the only garage I found with E5 was on the A470 Esso Garage next to star bucks.
Locals in Tywyn confirmed this, not far from the Cross Foxes :cheers

E5 Esso Pwllheli. Essential for garden equipment if you want it to start.

Thank you Oilstain, Filled up there yesterday on my way home from a week in Tywyn. Enjoyed four days volunteering on the Talyllyn railway.

Just back last week from several days volunteering on the TR, I was enjoying cheap petrol up there (in the Eurobox).

I use E10 in my LR, but put a preserver in, ran it today for the first time in two months - no problems.

If you’re doing the Birmingham to Mid Wales trip do you go via Newtown? If so pretty sure Tesco have E5 as I use it for my ride on and strimmer

Thankyou Alchad. I tend to use the Welshpool route and indeed Tesco in Welshpool currently have E5.

Neddy having fun and steam clean!

That`s a worthy entry for Photo of The Month competition. And as a title, how about - "Neddy Meets Thomas"
