New Rover Mut
« on: March 06, 2021, 07:40:42 PM »

Thought I posted about our new Rover mut; guess I dropped the ball.

His name is Winston and we've had him since January 15th.  He is a Papillon and will be 5 months old on the 10th.

I'm currently working with him to get him ready for a parade and show this coming April.

I have a classic safari outfit I wear for shows and parades; SWMBO decided he needed one as well.

Mpudi: So how did the land rover get up the tree?
Steyn: Do you know she has flowers on her panties?
Mpudi: So that's how it got up the tree.

Did you know that "Rover" is a classic cliché Brit name for a dog?  :tiphat

Yup, it is in some parts of the State's as well.  We considered naming him 'Rover, but though a Rover Rover named Rover was a bit much!

This seems a good opportunity for this...

In my garage, I could probably justify running a search and rescue dog as well...

One of ours would actually create work for the SAR Dog.... Jack likes running off with things like hammers for a good chew.

Snap! My spaniel managed to chew my dustpan and brush this morning. Yet another excuse not to tidy the garage...

My previous dog loved to go to the shop.  She wouldn't mess with the tools, mainly just sat there, but when I'd crawl under Grover she would crawl under there as well.  There were times she'd get as much oil on her as I'd get on myself.

This one is a little skittish of the shop right now.  Hopefully I can get him over there tomorrow.
