All joking apart, the model inventory could be an interesting thread on its own...

The current real fleet is 1 x TD5 Discovery 2, 1 x TDV6 Discovery 3 (an unreliable gift from an old friend) with 200,000+ miles on the clock and this – my ongoing project before I started work on it…

Good evening.

This is the first of the 'series', a 1993 200Tdi which we bought in 2004 to celebrate our partial and early retirement to France.

It is/has been a great vehicle and led us to buy a further four Land Rovers (in various states of repair) over the years, all of which we have kept.

Stay safe, well and busy.

Kind regards,
Stephen

This is my other Land Rover, Leo Sprayer.
1964 109" 2 1/4 diesel with centre PTO driven pump for spraying.
This is not a factory build, but one of many home brews built by farmers.
It was last taxed in 1984, when I assume it was put into the barn.
A genuine barn find in 1998, this is now stripped and in long term storage until I find time to assemble it.
Most of the mucky jobs are done, and it is now a chassis with axles but no hubs, so not yet even rolling.
Please excuse the rather *&%^$ pics.
(There is also a wooden roof sign 'Industrial Weed Control' and a three digit phone number, but not shown in the pics.)

Currently I own a Disco 1 300tdi as well as my series.

I have the pleasure of working on a lot of other people's series motors (and other LRs) as a bit of a sideline which is a bonus!

You are not that old.
It would have given you something to do during lockdown, the carawagon should be on the road by now.

Whatever I do the photo is upside down  ???

I cut it and paste it into a new file.  I think when taken on phone "right side up" data is embedded in the image, which isn't always correct.

I recently bought a 2-door Range Rover Classic. MY 1978, with "slight" modifications. Originally RHD now LHD, ('88) 3.9 l engine with Edelbrock inlet, Weber carb, ZF 4HP22 auto, Borg Warner transfer box, rather nice interior, good (aluminium) tailgate and an overspray in a very non-Land Rover-ish sort of pastel mint.
