https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/320737-rear-bench-seat-black-vinyl-assy-defender-series-2-seater-bench.html says it comes with full fitting kit. There is a little image of all the bits on their site.

That’s answered my question, Im gonna go for that.😉

Cheaper to buy it from Eblag than direct from Craddocks.

Anyone bought one of these from Craddocks?
Price is OK at fifty Quid, but I don’t know if it comes with the brackets that hook under the galv capping of the tub.
I’ve sent them a message, but nobody bothered getting back to me.

Nobody coming back to you is the normal customer service approach from Craddock's. They say they have stock, take your order and then won't respond. I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole now and I'm not alone!

I think its a Britpart one. Paddocks are showing an identical one but cheaper.
They are fine for occasional use, but I've found they bend a bit if used by "larger" people. Also the paint finish is OK, but does show rust in a relatively shot time. Mind you  - for £45, seems like a fair price.
The last ones I bought came with fixings, but I found some of the washers should have been a bit larger to spread the load better - maybe that's improved now.

Why do people bother with Craddocks ???

Doesn't matter if it's the only place on Earth selling something dirt cheap -  :shakeinghead

Nobody coming back to you is the normal customer service approach from Craddock's

I want to go cheap, as the bench will only be very occasionally used.

I can understand that ... It's just my expectations would not be high, and I wouldn't spend anything that I couldn't afford to lose and not be in too much of a hurry for delivery.

Plenty of experiences on here to support that.

There’s not much difference in price from either eBay ( delivery included but a few quid more ) or direct from Craddocks ( cheaper but £4.00 delivery ) . If you buy 2 it’s free delivery anyway .

Edit

It’s cheaper from Paddocks and again free delivery if you buy 2. That takes the Craddocks service issue out of the question all together 😀

If you have the option then the buyer protection that eBay offers is a simpler security on your purchase than buying direct from them.

I've bought two separate things from their eBay shop since November and both turned up when expected.
