Mystery Mould hood
« on: September 30, 2019, 12:45:21 PM »

Bobs previous owner gave us a canvas for free he did say it was very mouldy but we might be able to save it?
So any one recognise it?
Any tips on how to clean it?

Pressure washer should get that off.
If that doesnt shift it, Autoglym do a good cleaner and separate reproofer.

Well, I wouldn't jetwash it.
I did an old one years ago, and you could see where I'd moved across it back and forth with the lance, kind of ghost lines if you know what I mean.
I think I'd rather fit it to the vehicle, wash it lovingly with warm soapy water with a sponge, then hose off with a gentle spray/mist. :tiphat

I’ve used warm water with white vinegar on the headlining of my defender which decides to go mouldy now and then. Does the job on that so could be worth a try.
